Blackberry Storm - Sync Set Up

The Blackberry Storm requires the installation of a third party application. To set up your Blackberry Storm to "sync" with your Mobyko Phone Book, just follow these steps:

• 1. From the main menu, open "Options/Settings"
• 2. Select "Advanced Options"
• 3. Scroll down to "TCP" and press Select
• 4. If these details are blank enter the following, otherwise skip to step 6

APN: ----

Username for APN: ----

Password for APN: ----

• 5. Press Back, then "Save"
• 6. From the main menu, open "Browser"
• 7. Enter "http://www.mobyko.com/bb47/plugin.jad" then press Select
• 8. Select "Download"
• 9. Once the download has completed press "Ok"
• 10. From the main menu select Downloads, then "Funambol Blackberry Plugin"
• 11. Press "Menu" then select "Settings"
• 12. Enter the following details for your account:

Server Location: http://sync.cppdatabackup.co.uk/

Username: ----

Password: ----

• 13. Tick "Sync Contacts" and enter Remote Name: scard
• 14. Tick "Sync Calendar" and enter Remote Name: scal
• 15. Tick "Sync Tasks" and enter Remote Name: stask
• 16. Untick "Sync Notes"
• 17. Press "Menu" then "Save"

Blackberry Storm - Syncing

Once you've set up your Blackberry Storm as described above, to perform an actual "sync", just follow these steps:

• 1. From the main menu select Downloads, then "Funambol Blackberry Plugin"
• 2. Press "Menu" then "Sync all"
• 3. That's it. Your Blackberry Storm will now sync its internal contacts, calendar and tasks with your Mobyko Address Book.
