This phone supports auto set up but you can also set it up manually if you prefer.

LG Viewty KU990 - Sync Set Up

The LG Viewty KU990 phone comes with SyncML pre-installed and ready to go. To set up your Viewty KU990 to "sync" with your Mobyko Phone Book, just follow these steps:

• 1. From the main menu, select the "Settings" icon.
• 2. From the Settings screen, select "Phone Settings".
• 3. From the Phone Settings screen, select "Connectivity".
• 4. From the Connectivity screen, select "Synch Service".
• 5. From the Synch Service screen, select "Server synch. centre".
• 6. From the Server synch. centre screen, select "Options".
• 7. From Options menu, select "Add New" and enter the following details:

Profile name: Mobyko

Host address: http://sync.cppdatabackup.co.uk/

SyncML proxy: ----:----

Username: ----

Password: ----

Contacts: On

Contact Name: contact

Calendar: Off

To do: Off

Memo: Off

Sync Type: Normal

Access Point: Select your preferred Internet profile

Sync Mode: Manual

• 6. Select 'Save'
• 7. Highlight your Mobyko profile and select Activate.
• 8. You're done.

LG Viewty KU990 - Syncing

Once you've set up your Viewty KU990 as described above, to perform an actual "sync", just follow these steps:

• 1. From the main menu, select the "Settings" icon.
• 2. From the Settings screen, select "Phone Settings".
• 3. From the Phone Settings screen, select "Connectivity".
• 4. From the Connectivity screen, select "Synch Service".
• 5. From the Synch Service screen, select "Connect".
• 6. That's it. Your Viewty KU990 will now sync its internal phone book with your Mobyko Phone Book.
