This phone supports auto set up but you can also set it up manually if you prefer.

Nokia 9300 - Sync Set Up

Your Nokia 9300 may not have come with SyncML pre-installed.

• 1. To check if the SyncML application is installed, press the Desk button.
• 2. Scroll through the menu and see if there is an item that says Synchronisation.
• 3. If not installed, you can install it from the PC Suite CD-ROM that came with the phone.
• 4. To install it from the CD-ROM, you will need a Bluetooth-enabled PC or a separate Bluetooth "card" for your PC. For assistance with this, please ask your phone vendor. Most will be pleased to install the SyncML software package for you in store.
• 5. Once you've got the SyncML software package installed, just follow these simple steps to set up your 9300 for synchronisation with your Mobyko Phone Book:
• 6. From the Desk menu, open the Tools folder and open "Synchronisation".
• 7. From the Synchronisation screen, select "New" and enter the following in each field:

Profile name: Mobyko

Connection type: Internet

Access point: WAP GSM or GPRS

Server address: http://sync.cppdatabackup.co.uk/

Port: 80

Allow server alert: Yes

Accepted: Yes

Username: ----

Password: ----

HTTP authentication: No

Contents: (leave blank)

Contacts: Yes

Settings:

Local Database: (leave as default)

Remote database: contact (lower case)

Sync type: Normal

Calendar: No

Email messages: No

• 8. Click "Close" then "Yes" to save these settings. You're done.

Nokia 9300 - Syncing

Once you've set up your 9300 as described above, to perform an actual "sync", just follow these steps:

• 1. From the Desk menu, open the Tools folder.
• 2. From the "Tools" folder, select "Synchronisation".
• 3. Highlight your Mobyko Sync Profile.
• 4. Click "Sync".
• 5. That's it. Your Nokia 9300 will now sync its internal phone book with your Mobyko Phone Book.
