This phone supports auto set up but you can also set it up manually if you prefer.

Nokia 9500 - Sync Set Up

Your Nokia 9500 may not have come with SyncML pre-installed.

  • 1. From the Desk menu, open the Tools folder and open "Synchronisation".
  • 2. From the Synchronisation screen, select "New" and enter the following in each field:

Profile name: Mobyko

Connection type: Internet

Access point: Preferred GPRS network

Server address: http://sync.cppdatabackup.co.uk/

Port: 80

Allow server alert: Yes

Accepted: Yes

Username: ----

Password: ----

HTTP authentication: No

Contents: (leave blank)

Contacts: Yes

Settings:

Local Database: (leave as default)

Remote database: contact (lower case)

Sync type: Normal

Calendar: No

Email messages: No

  • 3. Click "Close" then "Yes" to save these settings. You're done.

Nokia 9500 - Syncing

Once you've set up your 9500 as described above, to perform an actual "sync", just follow these steps:

  • 1. From the Desk menu, open the Tools folder.
  • 2. From the "Tools" folder, select "Synchronisation".
  • 3. Highlight your Mobyko Sync Profile.
  • 4. Click "Sync".
  • 5. That's it. Your Nokia 9500 will now sync its internal phone book with your Mobyko Phone Book.
