Samsung Innov8 i8510 - Sync Set Up

The Samsung Innov8 i8510 comes with SyncML pre-installed and ready to go. To set up your Samsung Innov8 i8510 to "sync" with your Mobyko Phone Book, just follow these steps:

2. From the "Connectivity" menu select "Sync".

• 1. From the main menu, select the "Connectivity" icon.
• 3. From the Sync screen, select "Options"->"New sync profile" and enter the following:

Sync profile name: Mobyko

Select "Applications" then "Contacts"

Include in sync: Yes

Remote database: contact

Synchronisation type: Normal

• Select "Back" then "Back" then "Connection settings"

Server version: 1.1

Data bearer: Internet

Access point: user defined: WAP GPRS

Host address: http://sync.cppdatabackup.co.uk/

Port: 80

User name: ----

Password: ----

Allow sync requests: Yes

Accept all sync reqs.: No

Network authentic.: No

• Select "Back" then "Exit" to save the settings

Samsung Innov8 i8510 - Syncing

Once you've set up your Samsung Innov8 i8510 as described above, to perform an actual "sync", just follow these steps:

2. Select "Options", select "Change active profile" and select Mobyko

• 1. From the main icon menu, select "Settings"->"Connectivity"->"Sync".
• 3. Select "Options" and click "Synchronise".
• 4. That's it. Your Samsung Innov8 i8510 will now connect and sync its internal phonebook with your Mobyko Phone Book.
