Sony Ericsson P900 - Sync Set Up

The Sony Ericsson P900 phone comes with SyncML pre-installed and ready to go. To set up your P900 to "sync" with your Mobyko Phone Book, just follow these steps:

• 1. From the main menu, select the "Applications" icon.
• 2. From the Applications screen, select "Remote Sync".
• 3. From the Remote Sync screen, select the "Preferences" menu item underneath the "Edit" menu item.
• 4. 4. On the Preferences screen, enter your Mobyko account ID (----) and password (----) and set the Server address as follows:

Server address: http://sync.cppdatabackup.co.uk/

Username: ----

Password: ----

• 5. Click Done.
• 6. On the Remote Sync screen select the "Contacts" item that is shown on the screen.
• 7. On the Sync task Contacts screen, mark the checkbox next to the Enable task option so that a tick is shown and enter the following information:

Task name: Contacts

Server database: contact

• 8. Click Done.
• 9. You're done.

Sony Ericsson P900 - Syncing

Once you've set up your P900 as described above, to perform an actual "sync", just follow these steps:

• 1. From the main menu, select "Applications".
• 2. From the Applications screen, select "Remote Sync".
• 3. From the Remote Sync screen, click the "Sync" option.
• 4. When prompted for the Account name to connect with, choose your preferred Internet provider.
• 5. That's it. Your P900 will now sync its internal phone book with your Mobyko Phone Book.
