This phone supports auto set up but you can also set it up manually if you prefer.

Sony Ericsson P990i - Sync Set Up

The Sony Ericsson P990i phone comes with SyncML pre-installed and ready to go. To set up your P990i to "sync" with your Mobyko Phone Book, just follow these steps:

• 1. From the main menu, select the "Tools" icon.
• 2. From the Tools screen, select "Remote Sync".
• 3. From the Remote Sync screen, select "Edit profile" from the drop-down menu.
• 4. From the Edit profile screen, enter the following details:
• 5. Leave Sync type: as 'Synchronize' and Task name: as 'Contacts'.

Profile name: Mobyko

Server address: http://sync.cppdatabackup.co.uk/

Username: ----

Password: ----

Transport protocol: HTTP

Internet account: Select your preferred WAP GPRS or Internet profile

Use transport login: Unticked

• 6. Click 'Save'
• 7. Tick the 'Contacts' task and enter the following:

Sync type: Synchronize

Task name: Contacts

Server database: contact

• 8. Click 'Save'.
• 9. You're done.

Sony Ericsson P990i - Syncing

Once you've set up your P990i as described above, to perform an actual "sync", just follow these steps:

• 1. From the main menu, select the "Tools" icon.
• 2. From the Tools screen, select "Remote Sync".
• 3. From the Remote Sync screen, click 'Sync'.
• 5. That's it. Your P990i will now sync its internal phone book with your Mobyko Phone Book.
