Just like address book sync, calendar sync uses SyncML technology to work it's magic. So, if you are unable to set up your phone to sync, it could be because your phone doesn't have SyncML built in, which is the sync technology that backs up your contacts with CPP Data Backup. If you haven't synced your mobile with CPP Data Backup yet or youve simply forgotten how to sync your phone dont worry. Its easy to do and explained here. If you have got a new phone, youll need to set your new phone up to sync.
If you have an iPhone, currently we only support contact synchronisation. Calendar support will be coming soon, so be sure to check back at a later date.
For all other phones, if your events, appointments and tasks are not being displayed in your online calendar, we would recommend that you download the latest sync settings and re-sync. Click here to download the latest sync settings (you may need to sign in). If this takes you directly to your online calendar, then please contact our support team for further assistance.
You can create an event online in your CPP Data Backup Calendar by clicking in one of the time slots in day or week view, or by clicking in a day slot in month view, or by clicking on the add event link.
You can edit an event by clicking on the title of the one you want to edit in day, week or month view. Once you have made your changes, click 'Save'.
You can delete an event by clicking on the title of the one you want to delete, and then click the bin icon on the top right of the view/edit event box.
