How do I set up my phone to sync?

My phone is set up to sync - can you please remind me how to sync?

If you have forgotten how to sync your phone don't worry. It's easy to do straight from your phone and is explained here.

I have synced and can see my contacts on CPP Data Backup - why cant I see my photos, videos and texts?

When you sync your phone, all your contacts and calendar events are stored safely online. You can also save your favourite texts, videos and photos from your phone. Simply choose the ones you want to save and send them to us by MMS on +44 (0) 7768 200 900 and they'll be available in your Texts, Videos and Photo galleries.

Once they're in your account you can add comments and captions to them, print them out or email them to your friends.

I have synced but cannot see all my contacts on CPP Data Backup - why?

This is usually because the contacts you can see on your phone are being stored on your SIM card. To rectify this, please see the FAQ here.

Do I need to be on the website every time I synchronise?

No. You will only need to be on CPP Data Backup to register and setup a new phone. You do not need to be logged into CPP Data Backup to synchronise.
